Codex of Endurance is a monochrome coloured pencil statue study that reimagines classical form with a striking geometric realism tattoo backpiece.
This piece was created while I was travelling along the east coast of Australia last year, living and working from a van. Many clients will recognise it — it slowly grew over several months, taped to the wall behind me during sessions. It captures my deep love for European art and history, fused with contemporary fine line realism and geometric tattoo artistry.
Printed via archival Giclée process on 320gsm medium-textured 100% cotton rag paper with a 100+ year lifespan.
