Description

In Japanese tradition, the turtle (kame 亀) and crane (tsuru 鶴) are revered symbols of longevity, wisdom and good fortune. When shown together they represent a blessing for a long, prosperous and happy life. The reversible design lets you wear whichever side speaks to you that day, while the hollow sun circle (taiyō 太陽) on both sides symbolises you — the wearer — becoming the light that brings the artwork to life. Paired with a long chain, it sits over the heart for personal meaning. This realism-inspired pendant is a wearable extension of my tattoo artistry, perfect for collectors seeking symbolic jewellery with depth.

Materials

Available in two premium variants, both using genuine 925 sterling silver (not cheap plated base metals). We chose real silver and 18kt gold plating because they offer high material value, excellent tarnish resistance and a much lower risk of skin reactions compared to lower-quality plated metals.

  • Silver Variant: Sustainable recycled 925 sterling silver, weight 16.52g, plated with 0.03 micron rhodium for a bright, tarnish-resistant finish.
  • Gold Variant: Sustainable recycled 925 sterling silver base, weight 16.75g, plated with 3 micron 18kt gold for a luxurious warm glow.

Optional Add-On: 18", 21" or 23" inch box chain necklace (available in silver or gold).
