Codex of Endurance – My First Art Print

Codex of Endurance – My First Art Print

Codex of Endurance is now my very first official art print.

I started this piece shortly after the SEQ Tattoo Expo last year, where I placed second in Best Abstract Tattoo. It was an incredible weekend tattooing alongside my good friends Paul Tuyen (Dickfish) and Joey Attard of Vaiderz Tattoo Needles and Vaiderz HQ Melbourne. Not long after the expo, I was honoured to join the Vaiderz Pro Team.

Last year I was living and working on the road, tattooing my way up and down the east coast of Australia. I began Codex of Endurance during a long stint in SEQ towards the end of the year. A lot of clients at Mushin Tattoo Aspley would have seen it slowly coming together — it was taped to the wall behind me for months while I worked.

I finally finished the piece at the very start of 2026. After sitting with it for a while, I decided this was the one I wanted to release as my first ever art print.

It’s a monochrome coloured pencil study of a classical statue reimagined with a detailed geometric realism tattoo backpiece. The work blends my love of European art history with the precision of contemporary fine line and geometric tattooing.

Printed as a high-quality archival Giclée on 320gsm 100% cotton rag paper, it’s now available in A5 and A3 sizes.

I’ll be expanding on this series in the future, but Codex of Endurance feels like the perfect piece to begin with.

Thank you to everyone who watched this one grow on the wall — it means a lot that it’s now making its way into your homes and studios.
